This role involves remote/workfromhome arrangements with a requirement for a minimum of two (2) days per week working onsite and may be subject to change as the organization works through its hybrid workforce plan and/or changing needs of the Foundation. The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is Canadas largest mental health teaching hospital and one of the worlds leading research centres in its field. With a dedicated staff of more than 5000 physicians clinicians researchers educators and support staff CAMH offers outstanding clinical care to more than 38000 patients each year. The organization conducts groundbreaking research provides expert training to healthcare professionals and scientists develops innovative health promotion and prevention strategies and advocates on public policy issues at all levels of government.
CAMH Foundation is charged with raising and stewarding funds in support of CAMH. Its role is to help transform the way we understand and address mental illness by raising awareness and increasing engagement across the country. Generous and dedicated supporters help CAMH advance discovery and innovation build spaces that promote recovery and break down the stigma of mental illness.
The Operations team (segment: Business Intelligence) is accountable for information management of our donor constituent database and supporting the CAMH Foundation to drive dataled decisionmaking through data analytics data mining data visualization data tools and infrastructure. In addition to our data mandate we also lead and support project management across the Foundation. We help teams deliver strategic initiatives by providing consistent practices tools and guidance that bring clarity alignment and momentum to their work. This includes building organizational capacity for project planning execution and evaluation ensuring that initiatives are delivered efficiently and in line with Foundation priorities. THE OPPORTUNITY:
The Manager Projects will play a key role in leading and overseeing the successful delivery of strategic initiatives across the organization. This position is responsible for managing individual projects from initiation through execution while also providing oversight of the broader project portfolio to ensure alignment with organizational goals timelines and resource capacity.
Reporting to Director Business Intelligence the Manager will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define project scope monitor progress mitigate risks and ensure effective communication with stakeholders. This role requires a strong mix of project management expertise strategic thinking and the ability to drive consistency and best practices across all projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Leadership & Execution
- Lead the planning execution and delivery of organizational projects ensuring alignment with strategic priorities timelines and budget.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams both internal and external (such as third parties/vendors) to define project scope objectives deliverables and success criteria.
- Oversee the work of assigned Project Coordinators to ensure consistent project tracking documentation and reporting
- Develop and maintain project documentation including charters project plans status reports and postproject evaluations such as lessons learned sessions and closeout reports.
- Identify and manage project risks and issues proactively resolving roadblocks to maintain progress.
Portfolio Oversight & Strategic Alignment
- Oversee the organizational project portfolio providing visibility into project status risks interdependencies resource demands and organizational capacity
- Support leadership in project prioritization and resource allocation through clear portfolio reporting and planning tools
- Monitor and report on overall project health providing insights and recommendations to leadership.
- Support strategic planning and prioritization by advising leadership on project feasibility resource capacity and timelines.
- Provide project and portfolio updates in accessible formats tailored to different audiences.
People Leadership & Team Development
- Provide direct supervision and support to Project Coordinators including coaching performance management and professional development.
- Assign and monitor project tasks to ensure balance efficiency and skill development within the team.
- Foster a collaborative highperformance team culture that emphasizes accountability learning and continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Facilitate effective communication with internal stakeholders including project teams department leads and executive leadership. Manage stakeholders and work with project sponsors to keep projects moving.
- Build compelling presentations and communications to engage buyin and alignment across business units and stakeholders.
Standards Tools & Continuous Improvement
- Establish and promote standardized project management practices and tools across the organization.
- Lead or support change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of new initiatives and processes.
WHAT YOULL BRING TO THE TEAM
- Postsecondary education in project management business administration operations or a related field.
- A Project Management certificate or working towards a PMP designation is an asset.
- 5 years of progressive experience managing projects and/or project portfolios in a crossfunctional or multistakeholder environment. A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.
- Experience with organizational change management methodologies such as Kotter and Prosci ADKAR.
- Demonstrated experience supervising or mentoring staff with a focus on coaching performance development and team engagement.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g. Agile Waterfall hybrid) and experience applying them effectively based on project needs.
- Proven ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously from planning through to execution while managing scope timelines and risks.
- Experience overseeing a project portfolio including prioritization resource planning and strategic alignment.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g. MS Project Smartsheet Asana etc) and familiarity with collaborative platforms (e.g. Microsoft 365 MS Teams SharePoint).
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills; ability to assess risks synthesize complex information and make sound decisions.
- Excellent organizational and timemanagement abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Confident communicator with welldeveloped written verbal and presentation skills; able to tailor communications for both technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to foster collaboration build trust across teams and support change management initiatives.

Salary Range: $92881 to $107087 annually
