Job Description
AsaRecreation Attendantfor Broadmoor Public Golf Course you will provide high quality customer service to our guests by assisting with daytoday play setup event operations and course maintenance.
This posting is for multiple hourly positions (June November 2025)
Key Responsibilities:
- Park clean charge and maintain golf carts
- Collection of driving range balls cleaning range balls and restocking ball dispensers
- Assist with tournament setup
- Operate small equipment (backpack blowers weed whips lawn mowers etc.)
- Operate rideon equipment (mowers golf carts driving range picker etc.)
- Monitor golf course for issues including slow play nonpayment and housekeeping
- Assist golfers and respond to concerns
Qualificationsand Skills:
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as room setup/take down and cleaning
- Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to interact with facility guests in a positive manner
- Skill and ability to perform in stressful situations
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong time management and prioritization skills with the ability to adapt to changing needs
- Minimum completion of Grade 10
- High school diploma plus experience in a Strathcona County Recreation Facility is an asset
- Must be available for day evening weekend and statutory holiday shifts
Conditions of Employment
- Submission of Satisfactory Criminal Record Check
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as cleaning and room setup/takedown
- Perform duties in inclement weather with possible exposure to severe weather conditions
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR certification
- Valid Alberta Class 5 Drivers licence and submission of a 5year Drivers Abstract with less than 7 demerits
