Role: Data Engineer (Spark).
Work location: Toronto OR Mississauga OR Montreal.
Work mode: Available for both permanent and contract.

Role: Data Engineer (Spark).
Work location: Toronto OR Mississauga OR Montreal.
Work mode: Available for both permanent and contract.
Must Haves:
- 5 yearsof experience indata engineeringroles in complex environments
- Experience with Databricks and Snowflake.
- Proven skills inPython programming(clean code packaging testing)
- Strong experience withSparkandSpark Streaming.
- AWS (especially S3 and Lambda).
- CI/CD processes.
- Experience building pipelinesfrom scratchin production environments.
- Design develop and maintain efficient and scalable data pipelines and ETL processes
- Build and deploy ingestion transformation and orchestration workflows
- Implement data quality checks monitoring and error-handling mechanisms
- Collaborate with data scientists analysts and architects to define technical solutions
- Work with distributed systems (Spark Databricks) and cloud infrastructure (AWS)
- Write clean modular production-ready Python code
- Ensure proper CI/CD practices version control and infrastructure-as-code are in place
- Optimize performance of jobs queries and storage for large data volumes
- Monitor troubleshoot and continuously improve pipeline reliability
