About the role:
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor the Tireperson is responsible for repairing performing tire assessments and mounting and demounting heavy industrial is a fulltime hourly position that offers an attractive 4x4 schedule consisting of days and nights.
The position is sitebased at our operations in the Elk Valley and the ability to reliably commute to or relocate near Sparwood B.C is necessary.
In this role you will:
- Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
- Mount and demount heavy industrial tires
- Repair of industrial tires
- Perform tire assessments
- Use tire mounting machinery
Requirements:
- High School Diploma General Education Development (GED) or equivalent
- Qualified Tireperson
- Tire Industry Association Certification (Off the Road/Earthmover Training)
- Valid drivers license
- Experience working on heavy mobile equipment
- Experience working with mining equipment is an asset
- Proficient in repair and installation of tires for heavy and industrial equipment
- Knowledge on how to operate tire mounting machinery and equipment

$103000 $112000 a year
Base earnings reflected in salary range includes the hourly wage plus applicable shift premiums and will differ depending on location. It is calculated using a reasonably expected number of hours worked per year.
