Youll play a pivotal role in tackling complex challenges designing and developing innovative solutions and leading projects from conception to delivery. What youll do:
- Focus on crafting productionlevel code that is clean modular and thoroughly documented while strictly adhering to coding standards and best practices
- Engage in collaborative efforts to define and document requirements ensuring clarity task breakdown and accurate time estimates
- Engage in research and the creation of proofs of concept to support reliable implementation plans and foster team confidence
- Take a leadership role in sprint refinement and planning sessions guiding development strategies and promoting an efficient software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Ensure the highest quality of software through meticulous testing and debugging aligning with our standards for completion
- Develop and maintain models for data software and network architecture that meet organizational standards and promote effective information exchange
- Lead in identifying and analyzing the root causes of issues during testing phases and incident management. Innovate in testing by designing and implementing comprehensive test cases including automating integration tests within the CI/CD pipeline to enhance early detection (embodying a shiftleft approach)
- Actively participate in code reviews to elevate code quality and maintain consistency across projects. Work on optimizing and refactoring existing systems and legacy code to boost performance and scalability
- Oversee the CI/CD pipeline management for swift and secure code deployment.
- Regularly monitor the performance security and user experience of all applications under your teams purview identifying and addressing areas for improvement with a focus on continuous enhancement
What youll bring:
- Seeking a candidate with a Computer Science degree or equivalent experience bringing over 5 years of experience in highperformance fullstack software development
- You should have extensive expertise in OOP concepts Java SpringBoot Python Docker and Jenkins with additional skills in Drupal and PHP considered a plus
- Experience with UIAM (User Identity and Access Management) including authentication authorization and user lifecycle management considered a plus
- Your experience should also include 5 years in AWS covering a broad range of services from API Gateway to Terraform
- Your skill set should encompass advanced database design across SQL and NoSQL databases expertise in developing APIs (OpenAPI JSON:API GraphQL) and proficiency in Git and platforms like BitBucket/GitHub for version control and collaboration
- We value problemsolving skills especially in ambiguous situations and the ability to design build and deploy scalable and resilient systems
- Quality is paramount; we expect a demonstrated pride in delivering highquality maintainable and scalable software
- Your experience should also include working with legacy systems optimizing existing software and fostering a growth mindset to continually improve code quality and processes
- Strong communication skills are essential for understanding user needs and translating them into effective solutions
