Working alongside a dynamic and diverse team of passionate scientists engineers and technicians whose work drives the protection and stewardship of our provinces water resources you play a critical role in ensuring responsible development that protects public health and the environment for Nova Scotians.
As a Wastewater Engineer you will have the opportunity to guide provincial programs support regulatory decisionmaking and shape policy.
As a Wastewater Program Lead you will:
You are an experienced engineer looking to take on a high profile and impactful role that will make a difference for people and communities across the province.
You are a Professional Engineer () licensed to practice in Nova Scotia or eligible to be licensed in Nova Scotia with a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Chemical or Environmental Engineering. To ensure you are successful in this role you have at least six (6) years of applied experience in wastewater collection treatment and management for various wastewater types such as municipal private and industrial.
You have excellent writing and speaking skills that help you explain complicated technical details clearly to both experts and nonexperts.
You can manage multiple projects and adapt in a fastpaced environment with competing priorities have excellent organizational skills and demonstrate sound decisionmaking skills.
