Tasks
As Cloud Security Engineer you will assess the security posture of multitenant and multicloud environments as well as supporting the improvement of that security posture.
You will also collaborate closely with other colleagues and stakeholders from our customers to understand their business and technical requirements and develop tailored cloud security solutions for them.
You tasks will include:
- Conducting indepth security assessments and providing recommendations for configuring clients cloud platforms adhering to industry best practices (such as CIS Benchmarks the Microsoft Cloud Security benchmark and Well Architected Framework).
- Assisting clients in leveraging cloud integrated analysis and reporting solutions to identify enable proactive threat detection response automation and compliance management.
- Supporting clients with the configuration and delivery of cloud security reports.
- Implementing industryleading practices for Azure and/or M365 ensuring robust cloud security solutions for clients.
- Support in the designing and implementation of cloud security features such as:
Identity and Access Management with Entra ID
Cloud Security Posture Management with Defender for Cloud
Endpoint Management with Intune
Endpoint Security with Defender for Endpoint
Collaboration platform security with Defender for Office 365
Data Protection with Microsoft Purview
Requirements
- You are eligible for a NATO clearance.
- Knowledge of Azure and/or M365 cloud services including Entra ID Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft Defender for Cloud Defender for Endpoint Defender for Cloud Apps Defender for Identity and/or Purview.
- Knowledge of security logging and monitoring solutions and the ability to integrate and interpret logs from diverse sources.
- Awareness of cloud security best practices.
- Strong communication documentation and reporting skills.
Nice to have:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Cyber Security Information Security Engineering Information Technology or related studies.
- At least 1 year of experience in IT security specific to Azure or M365 cloud environments.
- Consulting experience
- Other vendoragnostic cybersecurity certifications. E.g. SSCP CompTIA Security etc.
- Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell Python and Bash.
- Relevant cloud certifications. For example: AZ104 SC200 SC300 SC400 SC401 or AZ500.
