Your role as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (FDRP)

As an FDRP youll deliver holistic supportive and clientcentred services to individuals and families experiencing separation crisis or conflict. Your role will include providing mediation and conflict resolution services on behalf of Centacare. Youll support separated partners to manage parenting arrangements with a childfocused approach while monitoring case managing and guiding client contact information and progress.

Skills And Experiences

What youll bring

  • Registration as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner with the AttorneyGeneralsDepartment or mediation training and qualifications to fulfil criteria for registration as anFDRP.
  • Demonstrated experience of delivering FDR services to clients from a range of backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated experience of work with clients experiencing domestic and family violence childinclusive practice child protection issues alcohol and drug issues grief and lossmulticultural CALD and Aboriginal cultural issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment observe confidentiality use discretionand initiative with clients and fellow staff members.
