About the Role
As an Anaesthesia Fellow you rotate through a range of anaesthesiology services including regional anaesthesia cardiac thoracic anaesthesia neuroanaesthesia and airway/ENT. The focus of the fellowship can be emphasised on:
Regional anaesthesia skill and knowledge development to be followed by a more independent role with an emphasis on advanced techniques research teaching and training.
Cardiothoracic anaesthesia and echocardiography focused skill and knowledge development in both TOE and TTE.
Airway/Head and Neck surgery experience in ENT anaesthesia and complex airway management.
Classifications for this position will range from HM25 HM30 ($129048.40 $177622.12 pro rata per annum) salary sacrifice and excluding super
What youll bring
MBBS or equivalent
AHPRA Registration
Current National criminal history check or willing to obtain
Undertaking or recently completed Post Graduate specialist training in Anaesthesia with completion of the ANZCA Final Fellowship examination (or overseas equivalent)

About the Department of Anaesthesia and Acute Pain Management
The Department of Anaesthesia and Acute Pain Medicine provides anaesthetic and perioperative services including acute pain medicine for general and specialist surgical and interventional medical procedures to adults performing over 16000 procedures annually. The Department of Anaesthesia and Acute Pain Medicine is accredited by ANZCA as a training hospital with an excellent record of high quality teaching and examination success. There is a strong incentive for clinical research and the Department has many new research projects and publications per year along with a number of National and International presentations.
