ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE:
St Vincents Private Melbourne is a facility of St Vincents Health Australia under the stewardship of Mary Aikenhead Ministries. We are a notforprofit Catholic private hospital which operates acrossfour sites at Fitzroy East Melbourne Kew and Werribee.
This is a 12 month appointment for an Interventional Cardiology Fellow commencing in February 2026. This rolewould be suitable for medical graduates who have completed advanced training in cardiology and have experience in coronary angiography and cath lab procedures. FRACP equivalent and a higher research degree would be advantageous to the applicant.

ABOUT YOU:
Applicants should have general registration with AHPRA and at least two years experience in an acute Australian Hospital (PGY3). Other attributes considered essential for this role include previous experience in managing deteriorating patients good communication skills and the ability to provide clinical care consistent with the expected medical best practice.
Desirable skills and experience include:
Previous experience as working as a sole doctor in a private hospital setting
Participation in medical specialist training programme
Experience working at Registrar level or equivalent
Previous experience as medical lead in Code Blue / MET calls
