A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mental Health Clinician who has a keen interest in joining the Clarendon Homeless Outreach Psychiatric Service (CHOPS) Team. Based at our Clarendon Clinic which is centrally located and close to multiple public transport routes this is a great opportunity to increase your skills in community mental health.
This is a community based role in an innovative environment working with clients who may be homeless or at risk of homelessness who suffer with a serious mental illness and associated high level of disability.
You will join a dynamic Homeless Outreach Psychiatric Service operating under a recoveryoriented model of care utilising the Strengths Model of Case Management.
Classifications for this position will range from RPN Grade 3 NP81 NP74 ($100932 $112091 per annum)

St. Vincents Mental Health (SVMH) includes an adult area mental health service for the inner city areas of Yarra and Boroondara.
The Homeless Outreach Psychiatric Service provides ongoing specialist treatment and support to meet the identified needs of clients who suffer with a serious mental illness and are homeless or at risk of homelessness in the Cities of Yarra and Boroondara. The multidisciplinary team provides a range of clinical and therapeutic interventions using the recoveryfocused Strengths Model of RecoveryOriented Practice.
