Job Description
About the Role
In this role you will be responsible for carrying out the cleaning assembly inspection wrapping and sterilisation of surgical instruments and medical equipment for The Northern Private Hospitals Clinical departments. Fulltime or part time opportunity available!
This role is a critical part of the surgical process that will see you working efficiently with your team to manage pressing deadlines.
Duties may include but are not limited to;
- Providing timely sterile products trays and equipment where applicable
- You will be rotated in various allocated areas in the department
- You will ensure consistency and continuous workflow between the various Operating Theatre areas and CSSD whilst practising exceptional customer service and maintaining the high operational standards of the sterilisation department
Your Skills and Experience
- Cert 3 qualification in Sterilising Services
- Prior experience working in a Sterilising Unit
- Your positive attitude will enable you to work effectively alongside our team and independently as required
- You will be customer service oriented in both internal and external settings
- Excellent interpersonal communication and time management skills
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
