The Client
Join an innovative boutique firm in Melbournes South Eastern suburbs and start your Accounting career. Well established firm that has operated for over 40 years. A 5partner firm and 50 staff with clients mainly in Victoria but also state and nationwide. They are extremely growth oriented and continuously promote within the organisation.
The Role
They are looking to take on a highly motivated and ambitious Graduate Accountant. They will offer you a career in a company where you will be well supported as well as challenged in order to develop your Accounting skills.
The Duties
- Support with the preparation & review of accounts tax returns FBT returns BAS and other compliance matters
- Work with accounting programs such as MYOB Xero and APS
- Prepare and manage client correspondence and management accounting reports for review
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with regulatory accounting & financial reporting standards
- Prepare Business Activity Statements and quarterly & annual tax compliance matters
The Applicant
- 02 years experience within public practice
- University degree (or in your final year) in Accounting Finance Commerce or related fields
- Degree must be eligible for entrance to either the CA or CPA program
- Microsoft Office skills
- Any previous Accounting experience would be highly regarded
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
