Penrith or Richmond office (WFH potentially available 12 days/week)
Monday to Friday part time opportunity (30 hours per week)
Competitive salary package plus commissions offered.
About Us:
Rafton Family Lawyers is a wellestablished and growing law firm with 22 dedicated team members across seven offices in Sydney. Our areas of practice include family law wills and estates conveyancing and mediation and dispute settlement. We are passionate about providing empathetic professional and timely legal services to our diverse community.
As we continue to grow were seeking a Business Development Officer to be the first point of contact for our clients and help drive the next stage of our success.
About the Role:
This is a newly created role with the opportunity to make a real impact. Youll be responsible for:
- Handling all incoming new client enquiries via phone email and online booking systems
- Converting enquiries into confirmed appointments and sales and processing upfront payments for initial consultations
- Providing a warm engaging and professional first point of contact for clients
- Attending regular networking and community events primarily in Penrith and the Western Sydney region to promote the firm and build connections
- Assisting with and contributing to social media engagement including posting updates promoting events and helping amplify the firms presence online
- Helping refine and improve client intake and onboarding systems
- Working closely with our lawyers support team and management to ensure a seamless client experience
About You:
Youre an engaging confident communicator with a naturally empathetic and calm presence. You thrive in fastpaced environments are motivated to meet targets and are deeply committed to delivering excellent client service.
Key Skills & Requirements:
- Previous experience in sales client services or business development (ideally in professional services though previous legal experience is not required)
- Outstanding phone manner and interpersonal skills
- Techsavvy confident with booking systems CRMs and the Microsoft Office suite of programs
- Highly organised independent and driven to succeed
- A natural networker who enjoys attending events and meeting new people
- Drivers licence and reliable vehicle required
- Able to work both independently and as part of a closeknit supportive team
