Job description
Altus Group is currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor with 25 years experience who are looking to cement their career path within a Global company.
Reporting to the Director as a Quantity Surveyor you are passionate about helping clients manage their construction costs and ensuring financial efficiency throughout the various stages of construction.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed cost analyses estimates cost plans and feasibility studies for construction projects;
- Completion of full trade and elemental takeoff;
- Measuring quantities for variations and managing risks in relation to changes;
- Undertake site visit and complete valuations of work complete on site;
- Prepare cash flows;
- Managing client relations and assist in establishing a clients requirements;
- Provide expert advice on costeffective construction methods and materials;
- Undertake cost analysis and feasibility studies.
Job Requirements:
- Expertise and accreditation in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
- 2 5 years Quantity Surveying experience (preferred)
- Membership in an approved Professional Body (preferred) eg. AIQS RICS CIOB;
- Knowledge of the local construction industry including development contracting and consulting sectors;
- Strong analytic and problemsolving abilities.
- Selfmotivated with a high degree of integrity honesty and ethics;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment;
