An excellent opportunity exists for suitably qualified and experienced individuals to join the Rex Engineering team as a fulltime B1.1 and/or B2 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) for its Perth base.
Reporting:
This position reports to the Line Maintenance Supervisor.
Position Responsibilities:
- Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities on Regional Express Group aircraft and aircraft components within a maintenance team.
- Ensure all maintenance and repairs are carried out to a high standard ensuring integrity and robustness of aircraft to meet operational requirements.
- Service and clean tools and ground equipment.
- Participate in remote port aircraft recovery when necessary.
- Observe all standards and procedures contained within Civil Aviation Safety Authority regulations the Rex aircraft system of maintenance and Rex Part 145 MOE.
Essential Selection Criteria:
- B1.1 or B2 Type rated Australian Civil Aviation Safety Authority aircraft maintenance engineering licence.
- A demonstrated ability to perform aircraft and component maintenance modification and troubleshooting in accordance with regulatory requirements under minimal supervision and to strict deadlines.
- Ability to work a flexible 38hour work week plus additional hours as required or rotating four days on/four days off roster to suit operational requirements.
- A sound knowledge of aviation Quality Assurance (QA) procedures and documentation.
- Working knowledge of WH&S procedures.
- A valid Australian drivers licence.
- Welldeveloped verbal and written communication skills.
- A high level of motivation with a teamfocused work ethic.
- Meet the necessary requirements to hold an Aviation Security Identity Card and Airside Driving Licence.
Preferred Selection Criteria:
- SAAB 340 B1 or B2 licence highly desirable
- Experience on transport category aircraft
- Line maintenance operations experience
