Who are we looking for

Due to an internal move we are pleased to seek expressions of interest for aBusiness Group Leader Energy & Resources.In this key role you will be working closely with ourOperations Manager Market Leaders multidisciplinary management team and our international network of technical specialists across our diverse will realise opportunities andensure sustainable performance and growth from our established and high performing E&R team comprising over 25 professionals in electrical mechanical process & multidisciplinary design management and project management roles. You will be responsible fortechnical and commercial outcomes on local and nationalrenewables powerand industrial projects andplay a key role in developing our people in line with GHDs values and purpose.

You will be a proactive collaborative and motivating leader able to get the best out of your team as mentor and coach. You will have demonstrated skills in project and financial management and be capable of winning and leading multidisciplinary projects.

Offering a variety of responsibilities you will be involved in:

• Building a strong business development and winning work culture with effective positioning and pursuit of large and strategic opportunities and expanding GHDs presence and market share.
• Developing and empowering a high performing and passionate team of talented professionals to reach their potential
• As part of the regional management team championing the regional strategy creating and achieving business plan objectives and targets and roll out of locally based initiatives.
• Leading the commercial direction risk management and governance on projects.
• Being part of an employeeowned global enterprise
• This leadership position could offer the potential to become a shareholder and Principal of GHD in the future.
• For the right candidate we will consider a parttime appointment (minimum of 0.8 FTE).
