Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Magento Frontend Developer with a strong focus on app development to join our growing team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the frontend of our Magentopowered ecommerce platform with a significant emphasis on building and enhancing our mobile app experience. You will work closely with our backend developers designers and product team to deliver exceptional user experiences across all platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain responsive and userfriendly frontend components for our Magento website.
- Design develop and maintain features for our mobile app (iOS and/or Android) leveraging Magentos APIs and mobile SDKs.
- Integrate Magento with mobile app platforms and services.
- Optimize website and app performance for speed and scalability.
- Implement and maintain crossbrowser and crossdevice compatibility.
- Collaborate with designers to translate UI/UX designs into functional code.
- Work closely with backend developers to integrate frontend components with backend systems.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across different platforms and devices.
- Stay uptodate with the latest Magento and mobile development trends and technologies.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.
- Potentially contribute to PWA (Progressive Web App) development.
- Work with thirdparty APIs and integrations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience (X years) as a Magento Frontend Developer with a demonstrated focus on app development.
- Strong understanding of Magentos architecture and frontend development best practices.
- Proficiency in HTML CSS JavaScript (ES6 and responsive design principles.
- Experience with mobile app development (iOS and/or Android) using native or crossplatform frameworks (e.g. React Native Ionic Flutter or native Swift/Kotlin). Specify preferred frameworks.
- Experience with Magentos APIs and mobile SDKs.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git).
- Experience with performance optimization techniques.
- Excellent problemsolving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration 1 skills.
- Experience with PWA development is a plus.
- Experience with headless Magento is a plus.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices is a plus.
