Job Description

Overview
The Inside Sales Specialist (EdTech) plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth for our education technology company. This position is essential for building strong relationships with prospective clients understanding their needs and effectively presenting our innovative educational solutions. As the bridge between the product and our clients you will utilize your persuasive skills to engage potential customers and convert leads into loyal clients. Given the rapidly evolving landscape of educational technology the Inside Sales Specialist must be proactive in identifying opportunities for outreach and educating clients on our products. Working closely with the marketing and product teams you have the unique opportunity to help shape our sales strategies to align with current market demands. Your contributions will not only influence the success of the sales team but also the overall impact we make in enhancing learning experiences across various educational institutions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct outreach to potential clients through calls emails and social media.
  • Manage and nurture leads through the sales funnel.
  • Qualify prospects and identify their specific education technology needs.
  • Deliver compelling presentations of products and solutions to potential customers.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to refine sales strategies and messaging.
  • Utilize CRM software to track interactions and manage sales processes.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support during the sales process.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
  • Analyze sales data and client feedback to improve sales tactics.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitors offerings.
  • Participate in training sessions to develop product knowledge and sales skills.
  • Assist in creating marketing materials and sales collateral.
  • Compile reports on sales activities and outcomes.
  • Engage with crossfunctional teams to ensure client needs are met effectively.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor s degree in Business Marketing or Education.
  • 2 years of experience in sales or customer service preferably in the EdTech sector.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce HubSpot).
  • Demonstrated understanding of the education technology landscape.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Exceptional negotiation and persuasion abilities.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing strategies is a plus.
  • Willingness to adapt to changing market conditions.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Passion for education and technology.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and events.
