Material Control Supervisor

What youll do...

This is an onsite position that will require flexibility including the ability to work any shift including nights weekends and most holidays. There is no hybrid option for this position.

Responsible for delivering objectives including but not limited to:

Inbound outbound and claims processing
Building Safety positive UAW Relationships Error Rate Denial Rate Inventory Accuracy Overtime Percentage Absenteeism Vacation Scheduling Grid Time On Time Delivery Efficiency Accurate Timekeeping in TWOS Process Adherence/Improvement Accountability Customer Satisfaction Accurate Application of the FordUAW National and Local Contracts.

Overall Building Organization and Cleanliness and willingness to work any shift as required.
Attend facilitate and submit proper documentation for crew meetings.

Prepare/maintain work related records as needed.

Schedule manpower (including overtime and vacation).
Champion and lead continuous improvement initiatives toward bestinclass performance.


Youll have...
High School Diploma or GED.

3 years of warehouse management or supervising experience

3 years of warehouse safety experience

3 years of experience with claims processing inbound and outbound


Even better you may have...
Bachelors degree preferred.

Knowledge of or ability to quickly learn current systems (SAP/EWM)

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Ability to interpret data evaluate actions and reach logical conclusions independently.

Goal oriented mindset.

A continuous Improvement mindset with a focus on quality and cost control.

Excellent organizational skills and ability to ensure accountability from all employees.

Proven dependability record and successful teamoriented experience.

Must have ability and experience to work in a fastpaced environment and work under pressure to meet and/or exceed dealer shipping deadlines.

This position is asalary grade 6.
