Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
Shipping and Receiving: Manage the shipment and receipt of all products materials and supplies
Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and stock levels for lab consumables outbound shipping kits kitchens bathrooms office supplies. Ensure warehouse space is organized
Physical Handling:
- Physically handle products load/unload packages and transport products using hand carts or pallet jacks.
- Prepare pack and ship supplies to be sent to customers resultant from daily monthly quarterly and annual orders as requested by customers CES Sales and per LIMS schedules
- Ensure that UPS Deliveries are prepared for afternoon pick up
Data Entry: Accurately enter shipment information into the LIMS system
Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse personnel customer service representatives
Driving: Drive to UPS FedEx and USPS locations to pick up samples
Lifting: Able to lift and move heavy objects
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications :
Required knowledge skills & abilities:
- Basic computer skills
- Good written and verbal communication strong sense of time organization ability to work independently and within a team data entry skills with attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills
- Must be able to work independently and remain on task
- Being a collaborative team member
Training: Will be provided
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience in Shipping and Receiving preferred
