Daycare Teacher Altoona IA Where Passion Meets Play!
You clicked here because teaching children is your passion right Well Yellow Brick Road Early Childhood is looking for teachers who love what they dojust like you! Whether youre experienced or just starting out if youre ready to laugh learn and make a difference wed love to meet you!
What Youll Be Doing:
- Keeping up with a room full of energetic little learners (think of it as fun chaos!)
- Creating a welcoming safe and engaging environment for children
- Laughing at jokes that dont make sense (because kid humor is nextlevel!)
- Leading playbased learning activities that spark curiosity and creativity
- Building relationships with families and keeping them in the loop
- Being an allstar multitaskersinging songs handing out snacks and preventing artwork on the walls (all at once!)
What Were Looking For:
- A love for teaching and inspiring young minds
- Childcare experience Great! If not we offer paid training!
- CPR/First Aid certified Awesome! If not well help you get it.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. (because little ones love to be picked up!)
- Team player with a positive attitude & strong work ethic
- Must meet Iowa childcare regulatory requirements
- 2year degree in Early Childhood Education preferred (but not required)
