Job Description
Process patient and corporate statements.
Utilize collection agencies to collect accounts including the verification of all collection balances.
Organize daily workload and assign work as needed to ensure that everything is completed when necessary.
Responsibly respond to other data processing or Patient Accounts duties as requested.
Complete morning work process to submit electronic claims and print paper claims to distribute to insurance billers.
Completely post daily insurance and self pay payments with appropriate adjustments.
Print and prepare hospital and clinic statements.
Responsibly respond to other data processing or Patient Accounts duties as requested.
Completely post daily insurance and self pay payments with appropriate discounts.
Balance actual posting with deposit logs.
Coordinate the processing of electronic payment upload for Medicare and Blue Cross.
Organize daily workload and assign work as needed to ensure that posting is completed in a timely manner.
Responsibly respond to other data processing or Patient Accounts duties as requested.
