Job Description
Position Description:
6 to 12 years of experience
Take ownership of requirement gathering calls & Understand the NFRs/Performance testing requirements. Understand the System Architecture and the components involved in the applications.
Should be able to conduct POC for new tools and technologies
Prepare and present the test plan with suggestion on types of testing needed to for the application
Create test cases from performance requirements for business critical scenarios
Develop robust scripts with Parameterization correlation and error handling
Unit test all the scripts developed to avoid any errors in the execution phase and less rework
Design effective controller scenario based on clients inputs and execute performance tests. Involve in monitoring all the servers at the time of test execution.
Documenting test results in prescribed format with all artifacts collected during the execution Analyze response times of critical business processes and transactions to establish whether they are within documented expectations
Track defects during the testing process
Document defects and the solutions to fix the defects for further reference
Participate in the status calls with stakeholders for tracking and resolving defects
Create Preliminary and final performance execution summary report. Provide timely reports on the progress of the Performance testing activities
Should be able to plan for the walkthroughs of Test Results with Client/Onsite stakeholders
Be proficient with LoadRunner Neoload and JMeter scripting tools and monitoring tools like Dynatrace AppDynamics SiteScope etc.
Be proficient with performance test analysis engineering skills and identify the root cause of the performance issues using monitoring tools
Be responsible and take ownership for the work assigned and complete the activity on time without followups
Take ownership for end to end delivery of the project including daily updates weekly updates and reports walkthrough for the clients
Demonstrate ability to handle multiple projects at the same time
Guide and mentor juniors on technical issues groom them to be proficient in all performance testing activities
