Ensure the proper and timely logging of incoming clearance documentation while providing an exceptional customer service within the Customs Brokerage department. Field all methods of document turn over (fax email ftp) and log with timeliness and accuracy.
Major Responsibilities:
- Answering phone calls and managing transfers to appropriate departments.
- Greeting office visitors and getting them signed in according to Expeditors protocols
- Deliver Exceptional customer service
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operating system
- Receive shipment notifications
- Review documents and prioritize logging expectations
- Ensure customer profiles are updated and current for assigned accounts
- Support operations where needed
- Meets company standards of 52 hours training per year
Qualifications :
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Experience with word processing spreadsheets Windows Outlook and various PC based software
- Willingness to learn and develop the industry skills
