Wesleyans Information Technology Services (ITS) is agile energetic and collaborative with strong support for professional development and staff creativity. Enterprise Systems an integral part of ITS supports the Universitys Workday System. The Enterprise team consists of three prongs Workday HCM Workday Student and Advancement Systems. The Workday Student team headed by the Assistant Director Workday Student is a team of 5. Wesleyan is currently implementing Workday Student and is expected to golive in the Fall of 2026.
Reporting to the Assistant Director Workday Student this position is primarily responsible for supporting Wesleyans ecosystem of Student Enterprise Applications.
The Analyst is responsible for configuring and troubleshooting Workday Student business processes reports and integrations. This includes working with internal clients to develop functional and technical requirements for needed functionality. The Analyst is also responsible for implementing changes whether it is developing tech applications or making enhancements.
Act as a technical subject matter expert in Workday Student configuration integrations and reporting.
Configure and maintain the Workday Student system ensuring optimal functionality and alignment with university processes. Gather requirements understand functional business processes advise functional office staff on best practices and research solutions to problems.
Develop support and maintain integrations with Student related vendors and products that connect with Workday.
Assist in the integration of Workday with other systems ensure seamless data flow between platforms.
Design build and maintain reports and dashboards within Workday. Take an active role in the Workday release cycle staying abreast of changes in Workday and advising functional offices of areas on the continuous improvement of business processes and adoption of new features.
Troubleshoot and resolve Workdayrelated issues providing timely support to endusers.

For this position we will consider candidates that would be remote hybrid or on campus.
Remote work is only considered for residents of MA VT NH ME CT RI or NY.

Bachelors degree plus two years of professional experience with Workday Student or an equivalent combination of education training and experience.
Handson experience configuring business processes condition rules notifications alerts in one or more functional areas.
Experience developing advanced reports Dashboards EIBs and basic Workday security.
Experience configuring and using Cloud Connect and EIBs.
Experience handling a biannual release in a Student functional area.
Experience providing Technical Support on Student and Faculty software applications.
Effective communication skills with the ability to both understand functional business needs and explain technical possibilities.
Bachelors degree in computer science or related field.
Workday Certification in a Student functional area or technical discipline.
Experience conducting integrations with Workday using an IPAAS.(SnapLogic)
Experience with Workday Extend.
Previous Higher Education Experience.
