This role sits within the Environment and Connectivity Service who are responsible for the ongoing development and implementation of Cornwalls nationally recognised approach to responding to the climate and ecological emergencies and the need to adapt to our already changing climate. Specifically the role is part of our Nature Recovery/Forest for Cornwall Team which aims:
The Role:
We are looking for a reliable enthusiastic knowledgeable and experienced individual to join our Nature Recovery team to help develop and deliver interventions to mitigate disturbance and damage from recreational activity to sensitive habitats in the Fal and Helford Special Area of Conservation (SAC).
The role will include;
This is a 12month contract with possibility of extension.
This is a public/customerfacing role where the statutory English language requirement for public sector workers applies.
This position will be subject to a basic criminal record disclosure check.
Working Pattern:
The role is a job share with an existing member of staff.
The role is parttime 22.2 hours (3 x 7.4 hr days) per week with flexibility to vary exact working days and times around the work programme.
There is a requirement for some evening and weekend work.
What youll need to succeed:
Our ideal person will be someone with a genuine interest and experience in marine conservation good attention to detail exceptional organisational skills good IT literacy and excellent customer care and communication skills.
