Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: (Other duties may be assigned.)

Working with minimal supervision on a team to build specific composite parts per specifications.

Assisting in the preparation of molds and forms.

Marking and cutting tape woven material honeycomb adhesive and similar materials following templates guides or specific dimensions and sequences.

Fitting and smoothing successive layers of materials as necessary to secure buildup free from wrinkles air pockets and voids following directions and instructions.

Ensuring that final size shape and details of parts are correct and in accordance with standards.

Noticing and commenting on the level of quality of products.

Working towards continuous improvement and efficiency.

Recognizing problems and help in their resolutions.

Completing required paperwork.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Required Education and/or Experience:

High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) and 2 years experience in assembly maintenance manufacturing production or related skills.

Other Skills and Abilities Required:

Previous composites layup experience.

Basic computer skills.

Experience in a fastpaced work environment.

Manual dexterity and motor coordination.

Ability to work with small tools.

Knowledge of workplace safety.

Must be able to read and speak English to understand work instructions.

Must be willing to acquire an understanding of the manufacturing process.

Must be teamoriented and understand the customerfocused nature of the medical device industry.
