Job Description

Provide necessary general maintenance and cleaning to facility. Maintain the organization of assigned warehouse space including receiving incoming deliveries processing shipments inventory control etc.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (Note: Other duties may be assigned)

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Provide general maintenance inside and outside of the facility including but not limited to cleaning
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of all Facilities work areas mechanical rooms electrical rooms and storerooms
  • Ensure assigned space is clean and organized and inventory tracked accurately and easily locatable
  • Perform tasks assigned by supervisor
  • Assist with setup in moving furniture props desks tables and chairs etc. as needed for special events such as photo shoots company meetings Foundation events etc.
  • Sweeps mops polishes and cleans finished hard surfaces
  • Vacuums and spot cleans carpets and rugs
  • Reports malfunction of bathroom fixtures light fixtures and/or damages to room and hall furnishings to supervisor.
  • Initiates work orders fore repair/maintenance
  • Other jobs as assigned

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • High School Graduate. Post high school technical education preferred
  • 2 years general facility cleaning

  • Ability to operate light industrial equipment for cleaning and maintenance purposes
  • General facilities maintenance
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Basic PC skills
  • Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong organization and follow through skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain good rapport with internal and external customers and handle situations with confidence tact and resourcefulness
  • Flexible adaptable with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Strong team player

  • Distribution and office environment constant standing walking and reaching; frequent stepping bending and stooping
  • Motivation and physical stamina required maintaining a quick work pace
  • Strong sensory skills such as good eyesight good hearing and dexterity
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Valid drivers license with good driving record
