ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Understands and responds to internal guests needs. Communicates in a friendly respectful and understandable manner.
Politely gives consistent timely and accurate information and finds answer when unsure. Uses outlined service
behaviors when encountering guests. Meets expected service delivery times as defined by departments service
standards or as required by receiver of service or goods. Is a team player cooperates with employees within the
department as well as other departments. Speaks positively about the company coworkers and guests.
Works in various food preparation locations to prepare food items and specialty dishes as designated by preplanned
menus. Receives on the job training under direct supervision. Assures that presentation is timely and meets quality
standards. Communicates to management the need for supplies and equipment. Responsible for maintaining a clean
work area and ensures proper sanitation procedures are followed. Assures quality production levels are maintained.
Assists in the control of food and labor costs by eliminating waste and over production. Receives food orders and
prepares according to desired request.
EDUCATION/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Minimum three years in different areas of kitchen preparation. Ability to
read and write English sufficiently to perform job.
