Schedule: Typical hours are MondayFriday 8AM5PM. Some flexibility may be required depending on patient needs.

What Youll Do:

• Provide psychopharmacological services including prescribing medications in accordance with written protocols.
• Conduct psychiatric and physical assessments historytaking and differential diagnoses.
• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each patient.
• Monitor patient symptoms and medication side effects.
• Serve as the primary point of referral for medical evaluations.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team.
• Offer crisis intervention and management of chronic mental health issues.
• Educate patients and families on prevention and treatment.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

• Masters Degree in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing. APRN licensure as either a psychiatric nurse practitioner or psychiatric/mental health clinical nurse specialist with the State of Kansas.
• Meets QMHP requirements.
