Aphena Pharma Solutions is looking for a Packer to join our team in Easton MD! Aphena Pharma Solutions is a dynamic pharma solutions provider focused on contract packaging repackaging and manufacturing for the pharmaceutical OTC dietary supplement animal health and medical device marketplaces.
Job Tasks
- Must be able to pack products according to specifications.
- Inspect product according to specifications.
- Count and place correct amounts in primary and master cartons.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment which may include sweeping removing trash and scrubbing work areas when necessary.
- Assist in line clearance activities.
- Perform tasks as outlined in documented procedures and instructions.
- Work the schedule for the shift to which you are assigned which will be discussed at time of interview. Both shift and workstation schedules are subject to change. Normal work week ranges from to 40 hours per week usually over 4 days. Shifts include 1st and 2nd.
- Work overtime as needed to maintain job schedules. Note: Overtime may be mandatory to maintain required production schedules.
- Pack on various product lines based on business necessity.
- Must be able to use required quality and testing equipment (such as scales).
- Report problems that prevent set standards and outputs of work stations to the supervisor in charge of particular line.
- Perform end of job returns and record as required.
- Train new employees on work stations per documented instructions.
- Move/stack raw materials and finished products.
- Assist with varied tasks as needed.

- Skilled in reading writing and counting.
- Willingness to be trained to work on FDA regulated product lines.

Physical Requirements
- Receive instructions through oral and written communications.

- Able to lift and move materials up to a maximum of 40 pounds intermittently.
- May be exposed to noise chemicals odors perfumes and fumes.
- Will be exposed to inside and outside environmental conditions.
- The physical activity of this position includes but is not limited to:
- Climbing Walking Stooping Kneeling Bending Crouching Reaching Standing Pushing Pulling Lifting Grasping Twisting Sitting and Feeling.
- Safety equipment will be provided where needed and required to be worn.
Education/Experience
- Preference will be given to high school graduates.
