Position Summary:
We are seeking a Software Developer Subject Matter Expert (SME) with an active Top Secret clearance and 10 years of professional experience to design develop test and maintain complex software systems supporting critical missions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate advanced knowledge of enterpriselevel software development security requirements and full lifecycle software engineering practices.
This position involves developing and enhancing software solutions resolving technical issues ensuring quality and working with customers to address feedback. The SME will support secure desktop design software testing patch automation and configuration deployment. Additionally the candidate will work in an Agile environment and contribute to continuous integration and test automation efforts.
Responsibilities:
Design develop code test and debug new software or enhance existing software applications.
Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to understand software issues and provide timely solutions.
Address user feedback and resolve softwarerelated complaints.
Support the development of user documentation and training materials.
Implement and manage desktop security lockdowns and integrations with enterprise systems.
Automate application deployments updates and patching processes.
Ensure compliance with security standards accessibility (508) and performance benchmarks.
Participate in Agile software development lifecycle using SAFe principles.
Required Qualifications:
Active Top Secret clearance (required).
10 years of software development experience in complex enterprise environments.
Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering or a related field (or an additional 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree).
Demonstrated experience across the software development lifecycle including security and automation integration.
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or collaboratively in crossfunctional teams.

Standards & Methodologies: SAFe Agile 508 Compliance and Testing Secure coding practices and automated patch/deployment strategies
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications in AWS Azure or Security (e.g. AWS Solutions Architect Azure Administrator Security).
Experience with DevSecOps frameworks and automation tools.
Strong communication skills and the ability to operate independently in a technical advisory capacity.
