Job Summary
Position Objective:Job Description
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Utilize prepared curriculum guides aids manuals materials and/or exercises to deliver instruction or training which meet the objective(s) and/or deliver the desired outcome(s).
Coordinate and deliver training programs with team leaders and supervisors.
Assist with delivering and/or coordinating IPC JSTD training and/or supporting the welding department training requirements.
Assist in new hire orientation.
Recommend modifications/updates for onthejob training checklists and/or training content.
In conjunction with the Quality Department coordinate and/or deliver quality procedures training requirements for all areas of the manufacturing floor and offices as appropriate.
Assist with development coordination and delivery of Lean Manufacturing Principles training.
Measure and communicate the impact of training through the key performance indicators and operating metrics.
Track and report training cost and hours.
Maintain training materials; provide input for standardized work instructions.
Assist in maintaining training records.
Support facility compliance with ISO 9001 training requirements.
Participate in continuous improvement projects as well as the development and delivery of relevant material needed to support those projects.
Collect pre and post data related to effectiveness and efficiency of training.
Prepare information for management and manufacturing leaders regarding barriers or issues related to training program.
Other duties as assigned.
Experience/Skills:
2 years experience providing training (formal and OJT) in a manufacturing or commercial environment.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations such as IPC JSTD and ISO 9001.
Strong communication organization and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Experience with LMS (learning management system) administration preferred.
Strong attention to detail planning organization skills.
Proven problemsolving skills.
Ability to work independently with moderate supervision.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent. Vocational/technical training or a combination of postsecondary training and experience equivalent to 2 years.
