Job Description

Alfa Laval Iberica is seeking a dynamic and resultsoriented Field Service Team Manager to lead our Service Operation Organization. Reporting directly to the Field Service Manager you will play a pivotal role in driving service transformation within a talented team of Field Service Technicians specializing in decanters and heat exchangers. About the Job

As our Field Service Team Manager you will spearhead the service transformation within a dedicated team of nearly 10 Field Service Technicians. Your primary mission will be to provide focused leadership ensuring the team maintains peak operational capability while effectively balancing the needs of our valued customers the business objectives and the development of your team members. You will empower and guide your team to:

  • Create an exceptional customer experience in every interaction.
  • Meet and exceed the demands of the Service market through proactive and efficient service delivery.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing clear direction and leadership to the team fostering a strong customeroriented mindset in all activities.
  • Developing motivating and coaching direct reports ensuring continuous professional growth and securing appropriate competence development.
  • Conducting thorough Field Service Engineer (FSE) employee reviews including the maintenance and updates of competence profiles and skills matrices.
  • Ensuring effective management and support of team members working in remote locations.
  • Occasionally executing all services within our comprehensive 360 service portfolio on specific products modules and systems.
  • Collaborating closely with the Service Coordinator in planning field service activities and strategically assigning FSEs with the precise skills required for diverse and complex jobs.

What You Know

To excel in this role you will bring a solid foundation of technical expertise and proven experience including:

  • A degree/diploma in Engineering or a similar technical field (equivalent Spanish diploma FP Superior).
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience leading teams of technicians demonstrating your ability to guide and inspire.
  • Strong experience in service maintenance repair and assistance processes showcasing your understanding of the service lifecycle.
  • Valuable knowledge of Alfa Laval equipment with a particular emphasis on decanters.
  • Experience in the Sales Process will be highly advantageous.
  • Residence in Madrid is required.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish languages (spoken and written) is essential for effective communication.
