Are you passionate about leveraging digital solutions to drive meaningful change Karis Disability Services is seeking a dedicated and innovative Digital Business Analyst to join our team. In this role you will play a crucial part in managing requirements identifying improvements and supporting the implementation of digital systems that enhance our services for both internal staff and the people we serve.

Digital Business Analyst
40 Hours per week

The Digital Business Analyst manages requirements identifies improvements and supports the effective implementation of digital systems at Karis. The Digital Business Analyst documents processes and systems and provides technical support to Interested Parties including users project leaders and senior leadership at Karis. The Digital Business Analyst works with project teams departments and various roles within the organization. They facilitate identifying selecting promoting analyzing implementing and optimizing effective digital solutions for Karis Disability Services for both internal staff and people who use our services. They provide information in the best interests of Karis Disability Services digital business practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Systems and Business Process Development:
- Investigate and recommend improvements in department practices and systems.
- Gather and analyze technical information.
- Configure software to meet organizational needs.
- Monitor technologyrelated work outcomes and provide feedback.
- Provide advanced technical support.
- Document and map current vs. desired system states.
- Prepare business plans and documentation.
- Gather and validate end user requirements.
- Negotiate with stakeholders and coordinate resources.
- Identify and mitigate risks.
Business Process and System Support:
- Liaise with stakeholders regarding improvement requests.
- Document and measure improvements.
- Develop process maps and data flow diagrams.
- Organize and store digital application requirements.
- Act as a systems expert.
Continuous Improvement and Change Management:
- Train groups and individuals on digital systems.
- Develop and distribute training materials.
- Support employees in improving digital processes.
- Recommend improvements to digital processes.
- Implement new digital systems and respond to support requests.
Education and Experience:
- 2 years of previous related work experience
- College Diploma on a related field of study;
- Information Systems or Business Analysis preferred
- Business related degree would be an asset
- Certification in Business Analysis (i.e. Through IIBA PMI ITIL etc.)
- Strong analytical problemsolving communication and data analysis skills; knowledge of usercentered design; ability to provide training and coaching; attention to detail; excellent timemanagement.
