Under broad supervision you will reconcile and adjust general ledger accounts and/or bank statements. You may also perform moderately complex analyses of performance results. In addition you will compile consolidate and analyze accounting and finance information for financial statements and reports and perform other special projects as assigned.
How you will contribute
You will:
- Support accounting and external reporting activities including accurate and timelyU.S. GAAP reporting and timeliness and integrity of statutory financial reportingbalance sheet reconciliations KPIs fixed assets restructuring and intercompanycharges. As required you will support activities performed by Mondelz International Business Services/thirdparty serviceproviders during month/quarter /yearendclose statistical reporting andstatutory audit
- Contribute to strong controls and compliance environment and comply with Mondelz InternationalsAER policies. Support audit activities and provide information on auditors request
- Perform moderately complex analysis of performance results as requested

What you will bring
A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career. You will bring experience and knowledge in:
- TECHNICAL EXPERTISE in accounting and external reporting including understanding U.S. GAAP IFRS or local GAAP close processes and financial reporting systems (SAP experience preferred). Knowledge in policy controls and compliance design including SOX reporting
- BUSINESS ACUMEN and experience working in FMCG/CPG Industry or Big Four accounting preferred
- LEADERSHIP SKILLS including proven business partnering and communication skills. Experience working as a finance leader managing crossfunctional and business partner teams to drive timely and accurate results
- GROWTH/DIGITAL MINDSET and the ability to leverage technology to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and financial system knowledge
- INTEGRITY and sound judgement in all decisions and interactions aligned with our values policies and external regulations
More about this role
What you need to know about this position:
As part of the local AER team you will :
- classify examine and analyse accounting records ( US GAAP / BE GAAP / NL GAAP )
- prepare financial reports and statements
- perform special projects as assigned.
- support other accounting and external reporting activities.
- be one of the local AER contact for all departments in the Benelux locations.
- be one of the local AER contact for external tax administrations.
Education / Certifications:
- Accounting degree
- 5 years financial experience
Job specific requirements:
- Support accounting and external reporting activities including accurate and timelyU.S. GAAP reporting and timeliness and integrity of statutoryfinancial reporting ( BE GAAP / NL GAAP)balance sheet reconciliations KPIs fixed assets restructuring and intercompanycharges. You will also support activities performed by Mondelz International Business Services/thirdparty serviceproviders (coordination both with Genpact & Accenture) during month/quarter/yearendclose statistical reporting and statutoryaudit (Ernst & young / PWC ). Support the local AER lead with the analysis of the local results and compliance to the Mondelz transfer price policy and protocols.
- Contribute to a strong controls and compliance environment and comply with Mondelz Internationals AER policies. You will also support audit activities and provide information at an auditors request. Scope is both during internal audits & external audits tax transfer price & vat audits and the annual PWC audits.
- You are the local AER contact for all departments to support in compliance and other audits
- Perform special projects and analyses as requested

- Supervision and support of the trainee
AP role
- Key contact person and link between the Local Mdlz organization AP Mdlz CoE and Accenture.
- Escalation process: support the Local organization on the AP issues (Pos GRIR vendor debit balances Accounting Leasing) and the Accenture AP team on the open items resolution PO debit balances and incorrect AP postings.
- Validate/propose the vendors clearings PO clearings MR11
- Provision of any SAP basic transaction training to the Local Mdlz organization
Tax role
- Support the Country Lead/Manager with the transfer pricing model of all legal entities in scope
- Based on EY calculation participate in year end tax true ups process.
- In coordination with Genpact support the International Tax Questionnaires (ITQ) preparation to ensure it is delivered on time with appropriate data.
- In coordination with Genapct support the IDR preparation to ensure it is delivered on time with appropriate data.
- Collaborate with shared service centers
- Business partner for internal and external service providers (VAT Fixed Assets Intercompany Accounts Payable US GAAP reporting and Overheads preparation statutory accounts).
- Digitalization
- Using the digital competencies to simplify and automatize the processes and wow.
