Description

Position Objective:

The Family Portrait Photographer is responsible for working with Family Camp Families ensuring they receive high quality family photos with excellent customer service in a manner consistent with MHAs mission vision culture code and standards of conduct.

General Qualifications:

The Family Portrait Photographer is a Ministerial position. Ministerial staff render their work stewardship relationships and behavior as evidence of being followers of Jesus Christ while embracing and affirming Mount Hermon Association Inc.s (MHA) Christian mission vision beliefs culture code and standards of conduct. They are responsible for defining cultivating and leading MHAs Christian community conference programs and retreats. All staff are expected to join gatherings which includes prayer worship and Biblecentered teaching.

Key Job Accountabilities:

  • Provide high quality images to families ensuring a high standard of customer service.
  • Manage photography labor spending and productivity for assigned photographers.
  • Communicate critical area and company updates to staff.
  • Prepare and conduct routine performance reviews for photography staff.
  • Develop manage and promote positive team culture
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education/Certifications/Licenses:

  • Education in Multiple Digital Outlets. (Photography and Design)

Work Experience:

  • Experience working with guests or customers in a high volume capacity.
  • Background in photography and visual composition.
  • Proficient in Photoshop Light room and Illustrator.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to coordinate with families clearly and timely.
  • Ability to establish priorities work independently and proceed with objectives without supervision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Knowledge/Proficiency in Photoshop and Photography.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to problem solve and have action plans when working with guests.

Physical Demands:

  • Carry and set up equipment. (up to 50 pounds).
  • Ability to stand and/or move for long periods.

Additional Requirements:

  • Adherence to the basic principles as expressed in MHAs Mission Vision Culture Code and Standards of Conduct.
  • Adherence to company dress code and professional standards for personal grooming and appearance.
  • Satisfactory completion of background investigation or valid work permit as well as ability to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
