Continental Resources is a dynamic organization with a rich asset base where talented motivated individuals thrive. Continentals Portfolio & Strategic Planning group manages the resource base and evaluates longterm tradeoffs and gaps associated with the Companys financial and operating objectives. The team is searching for an engineering candidate to lead the portfolio analysis process.
Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinate portfolio analysis needs across the corporation
Collaborate with Portfolio team and Asset team members to ensure the quality of resource development characterizations within the portfolio model
Develop and maintain operational and financial parameters in the portfolio model that align with the commitments constraints and objectives of the corporation.
Frame and Run Scenarios to evaluate portfolio tradeoffs and to provide strategic insights
Communicate portfolio insights and results to various audiences including asset teams and executives
Leverage portfolio insights to develop a longrange plan used to guide financial planning and asset team operations scheduling.
Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Mechanical Chemical or related Engineering field from an accredited college or university.
Minimum of twelve (12) or moreyears of industry experience with a firm understanding of reservoir engineering field development planning and economics & reserves for unconventional resources.
An acceptable preemployment background and drug test.
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced user of @RISK or similar risk modeling tool
Advanced user of Aries or similar economics product
Advanced user of Spotfire or similar analytics tool
Advanced user of Microsoft Office products especially Excel PowerPoint and Word
Experience with Quorum Portfolio or similar portfolio analysis tool
Experience with PRMS and SEC Reserves regulations
MBA or equivalent advanced degree or certificate
Able to utilize GIS systems and conduct basic spatial analysis tasks
Broad understanding of internal and external E&P data sources and ability to connect compile and analyze
Able to write or edit code (e.g. SQL R Python VBA) to enhance personal and team productivity
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Requires prolonged sitting some bending and stooping.
Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
