Job Description
- Principles of Operation:
- Partner to find and create solutions that align to the divinely appointed responsibilities of the Church
- Foster an environment of trust and unity
- Build upon each others strengths and ideas to create effective products
- Deliver effective and timely communication
- Purpose:
- Clearly understand and communicate project objectives and goals
- Organize the needed resources to meet project requirements
- Own projectlevel scope schedule and budget
- Ensure projects adhere to Church process and policy obtaining necessary approvals
Responsibilities
- Complete endtoend management of assigned projects
- Counsel and collaborate with the product management team to understand their needs purposes missions visions and ideals
- Ensure projects meet the scope schedule and budget requirements to accomplish the work
- Disseminate production information promptly to the pertinent teams and individuals
- Hold resource teams and internal and external partners accountable to meet their commitments
- Coordinate handoffs between groups that are working collaboratively
- Manage plan direct monitor control and close projects of medium to high complexity
- Ensure projects meet requirements stay within budget and adhere to timelines
- Utilize interpersonal skills and processes to maximize team efficiency
- Follow standard procedures to manage project information project risks and procure project goods and services
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in a related field required
- Minimum 5 years (7 preferred) of experience in project management or Masters Degree and 3 years of experience in project management
- PMP certification required or obtained in the first 12 months of employment
- Proven initiative and ability to champion a project from conception through to completion
- Manage and communicate between crossfunctional publishing and production teams
- Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments and projects
- Professional writing communication and presentation skills with the ability to maintain composure in diverse scenarios
- Proficient in identifying content that does not align with leaderships vision or direction
- Skilled in receiving direct feedback from stakeholders and making necessary adjustments
- Ability to strategize collaborate with and communicate clearly to stakeholders
- Proficiency in project management systems
- Professionally interface and communicate with seniorlevel leaders
