Applicants must be enthusiastic and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Learning Support Assistants (LSA) would work alongside and individually from class teachers.
Working week
Monday to Friday
8:45am 3:45pm 32.5 hours term time insets (36.4 working weeks)
September start date
Wage
National Apprenticeship Wage 7.55 per hour
Wage rises to National Mininimum Wage if over 19 years old
Qualification
Teaching Assistant level 3
Duration 16 months

Duties and Responsibilities
Key Skills and Attributes
Use of other equipment technology video photocopier.
Understanding of relevant polices/codes of practice and awareness of relevant legislation.
General understanding of national/foundation stage curriculum and other basic learning programmes/strategies.
Basic understanding of child development and learning.
Ability to selfevaluate learning needs and actively seek learning opportunities.
Ability to relate well to children and adults.
Work constructively as part of a team understanding classroom roles and responsibilities and your own position within these.

Maths and English at GCSE level AC (49)
