FP&A at Capital on Tap
Do you have a passion for finance planning and analysis Are you detailoriented with a knack for diving into financial information to understand drivers of business performance and using this to produce accurate budgets and forecasts We are seeking a dedicated FP&A Analyst to join our growing Finance team.

What Youll Be Doing
As a Junior FP&A Analyst you will play a critical role in a highperforming FP&A team supporting the preparation of budgets and forecasts being a first layer of review for financial results developing technical SQL and modelling skills for data analysis and building relationships across the business as a key finance business partner. This role is perfect for someone eager to work in a dynamic FinTech environment and contribute to the development of efficient and robust planning and financial analysis.

  • Financial Result Analysis: Analyse revenue and expenses against forecast and deliver timely financial analysis to support business decisionmaking at the highest level.
  • Prepare Key Reporting: Design and produce monthly reports for internal and external stakeholders ensuring their needs are met with accurate financial information.
  • Run Expense Forecasting & Budgeting: Oversee the companys expenses by partnering with teams across the business to deliver accurate forecasts and budgets and carrying out monthly reviews.
  • Drive Process Automation and Improvement: Always seek to improve existing processes by creating automated solutions and enhancing capabilities with SQL development. Exhibit confidence and initiative to challenge and improve existing processes and procedures.
  • Support Projects: Contribute to key finance projects including budgeting and reporting enhancements.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate professionally and proactively with various internal and external stakeholders demonstrating an inquisitive nature.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other finance teams to ensure the financial reporting cycle is complete as timely and accurately as possible. Provide support on additional financial tasks as needed.

Were Looking For
Required skills:

  • Youre great with numbers and know your way around Excel
  • Youre working towards an ACA ACCA CIMA or equivalent
  • Youve worked in finance accounting or consulting before for 1 year or more
  • Youve got strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Youre super organised and can juggle multiple deadlines
  • You know how to make sense of data and explain it clearly
  • You can work well with different teams and build relationships
  • Youre proactive and always looking for smarter ways to do things
  • Youre open to using new tools and tech to improve processes

Nice to have skills:

  • SQL experience (not essential)

Interview Process
Brief assessment to assess numerical skills
First stage: 30 minute intro and values call with Talent Partner (Video call)
Second stage: 60 minute CV overview with Team Manager and Head of FP&A (In Person)
Final stage: 30 minute interview with executive member of the business (In person/Video call)
