We are looking for an Enterprise Solutions Architectto support our client based in Tallahassee Florida.
US BASED CANDIDATES ONLY.
This is an onsiteposition. Candidates must be located in or near Tallahassee Florida or willing to relocate.

The project
Our client a state government agency in Tallahassee is seeking an adaptable Enterprise Application Architect to lead the planning design and integration of complex enterprise systems. This is a generalist role focused on highlevel architectural decisionmaking and crossplatform strategy rather than deep specialization in specific stacks.
The successful candidate will support enterpriselevel software development cloud integration and data systems bringing a balanced understanding of architecture data security and collaboration across business units. This role requires strong leadership technical breadth and the ability to translate evolving needs into scalable maintainable solutions.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Develop and maintain architectural strategies for enterprise applications and integration solutions
- Design and implement cloudnative architectures (Azure preferred AWS/Oracle accepted)
- Lead modernization and integration initiatives across multiple teams and technology platforms
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on defining technical requirements and roadmap alignment
- Drive secure scalable and interoperable system designs across databases APIs and cloud services
- Serve as technical advisor on database consolidation middleware integration and CI/CD processes
- Mentor technical staff and contribute to architectural governance practices
- Support existing applications and coordinate enhancements data models and platform integrations
- Stay current with trends in enterprise architecture data platforms and cloud technologies
Compensation and Term
This opportunity is for a fulltime position with paycommensurate with experience up to $170000 per year. Medical dental vision and life insurance available after 30 days of hire.
Candidates are expected to work onsite at our clients location.
Qualifications you need
A successful candidatepossesses or provides the following:
- Bachelors in Computer Science Information Systems Business Administration Finance or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- At least seven (7) years of experience in multiple IT areas and 23 years specifically in application architecture.
- Experience designing and delivering enterprise applications across web cloud and data environments
- Broad proficiency with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) REST APIs integration tools and enterprise patterns
- Familiarity with SQL Server Oracle PL/SQL and/or MySQL in enterprise use cases
- Knowledge of secure development practices and cloud security principles
- Ability to work with business and technical teams to drive crossfunctional outcomes
- Excellent communication skills including documentation and stakeholder engagemen
- Cloud certifications (Azure Solutions Architect AWS SA etc.)
- Familiarity with architecture frameworks like TOGAF or internal modeling standards
- Experience with business intelligence platforms (e.g. Power BI Tableau)
- Handson knowledge of platforms such as ServiceNow Git or Jenkins is a plus
