Hiring Opportunity: Cleveland Ohio

Our client is looking to hire a Mechanical Engineer at their Cleveland Ohio location. Our client is a designer and manufacturer of innovative foundry equipment and boasts their great insurance package that includes fully paid for medical insurance for individuals.

The mechanical Engineer will mainly be responsible for taking concepts through design for new or modify existing core & molding equipment.


Responsibilities:

Responsible for taking concepts through design for new or modify existing core & molding equipment. From time to time include travel to visit facilities and generate plant layouts.
Experience in creating detail drawings for fabrication and machining as well as work with vendors and our clients shop floor for creation of parts and subassemblies create and manage bills of material. Participates in specification drawing review mechanical build factory runoff and field commissioning. Works with customers to support machinery and installation needs.
Work with others in the Engineering Department to oversee and facilitate accurate work product and timely response to project needs and customer support.

Minimum Requirements:

Proven experience with precision industrial automation machinery skilled with sizing actuators beam sizes and selection general machine operation & design understand linear guidance and have understanding of interface with hydraulic & pneumatic control.
Proficient in creating fabrication and assembly drawings with AutoCAD and Solid Works. Experience with foundry equipment design a plus.
Capable of limited travel primarily throughout North America.

Education and Experience Required:

This is not an entry level position.
Minimum 35 years experience with industrial machine design and fabrication field service and supervising small teams.
Bachelor degree in related discipline i.e.: Mechanical Engineering Engineering Technology or equivalent technical degree and experience.
