Job Description Summary
The Argyros College is seeking a creative and motivated Student Assistant to support our social media and communications efforts. This role is ideal for an incoming Junior or Senior with a passion for storytelling content creation social media management and digital marketing. This is a parttime position and a great opportunity to build your portfolio and gain handson experience in social media marketing!
Responsibilities
Assist with content creation for Instagram LinkedIn and other Argyros Collegeowned social media platforms (i.e. graphics captions shortform videos etc.) Support coverage of college events including capturing photo/video content when necessary Schedule and publish posts using social media management tools and native social media platforms Monitor social media trends and contribute fresh ideas to increase engagement Assist with internal communications and digital newsletters as needed Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Currently enrolled as a student at Chapman University Interest in business marketing and communications Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail Deep understanding of the digital landscape social media platforms and digital tools Excellent content creation skills (i.e. Instagram Reels Instagram Stories etc.) Excellent writing editing and proofreading skills Ability to work with little supervision Reliable and communicates well with supervisor
