Job Summary
Inspect diagnose repair and perform preventive maintenance on machinery and mechanical equipment. Perform various facilities maintenance activities.Job Description
Key Accountabilities:
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical mechanical and similar problems on machinery/equipment and perform timely repairs.
- Establish appropriate frequency and perform regular preventive maintenance activities on all machinery/equipment in the facility.
- Perform timely facility/building maintenance and minor repairs and maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Dismantle defective machines/equipment and install new or repaired equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of all inspections tests and repairs.
- Coordinate and make recommendations on workrelated contracts and services.
- Supervise outside contractors when needed for mechanical and electrical repairs and maintenance.
- Participate support and comply with all health safety quality and Lean initiatives and requirements.
- This is a position that works directly on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- Demonstrate mechanical and technical aptitude
- 35 years experience in an industrial maintenance environment
- College degree or certificate in a technical area or related field
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
