Your Role
As a Sales Experience Director you are responsible for sales and adoption of selling programs by facilitating partnerships departments driving team towards goals and applying team skills to build a customerfocused sales experience all while being a steward of Neiman Marcus. The Sales Experience Director works onsite in your store location and you will report to the General Manager.
What Youll Do
- Oversee Client Development team performance and objectives through management of GSMs
- Communicate the store vision and goals to all team members
- Advocate for Neiman Marcus values and manage team to create an energized atmosphere where customer service is consistent with Neiman Marcus standards
- Partner with Client Development Brand Experience Restaurants Merchants and Brands Manager and Regional team to fulfill store strategic efforts
- Support the Store GM in fulfilling their duties including backfilling for GM
- Determine strategic objectives in partnership with Store GM and set priorities accordingly
- Analyze and develop understanding of internal / external customer behavior trends and preferences adjusting processes and standards
- Participate in and in the absence of the Store GM facilitate Store Leadership Team meetings by fostering a trusting and respectful environment for participation idea sharing addressing concerns / challenges setting goals.
- Partner with Merchant and Planning Organization Leaders and Regional team to determine appropriate strategies and action plans for the store to yield positive results
What You Bring
- 10 years of relevant experience luxury retail fashion experience preferred
- Prior retail senior management experience
- Track record achieving results across multiple businesses
- History of building motivating and coaching teams
- Strong analytical skills
- Previous experience navigating complex business problems collaborating with leads across corporate functions presenting at the executive level working with corporate partners and leading largescale initiatives
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office Product Suite
