Job Description

LOCATION:

Nauset Public Schools Central Office

DESCRIPTIVE STATEMENT

OF POSITION:

Human Resources Administration

  • Assist with maintaining employee personnel files and payroll files
  • Collect process and track new hire onboarding documentation
  • Assist with preparing and placing job postings and employment advertisements
  • Assist with preparing appointment letters and employment contracts
  • Assist with preparing annual reappointment letters
  • Assist in preparation of reports as needed such as seniority reports town reports and budget reports
  • Assist with maintenance of employee paid time off accrual data (sick vacation personal time)
  • Assist with tracking of employee background check data and processing of background checks
  • Process CORI reports for volunteers and employees and maintain/update CORI log and CORI files
  • Assist with tracking State Ethics Conflict of Interest Training for all employees
  • Assist with tracking of employee leaves and maintenance of employee leave forms
  • Assist the Payroll/Benefits Coordinator with payroll preparation filing and other tasks as needed
  • Maintain absence management System
  • Provide general customer service to both internal and external customers by responding to routine inquiries and assisting employees with Human Resources and Payroll related questions.

General Office Support

  • Provide backup coverage to the reception desk.
  • Provide general customer service to both internal and external customers by responding to routine inquiries and assisting employees with Human Resources and Payroll related questions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong administrative support and office management skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office Google Platform as well as other information management/database applications
  • Ability to present information and respond to questions from staff parents and the general public
  • Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely in written and oral communication.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
  • Knowledge of special education procedures to maintain appropriate confidential records
  • Ability to perform duties with awareness of all district requirements and Board of Education policies.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles; specifically in regards to accounts payable

SALARY:

Salary is commensurate with experience; 12 month position yearround position

AVAILABILITY:

June 1 2025
