Hillside Pines Temporary Fulltime Licensed PracticalNurse (LPN)
Hillside Pines is an elderdirected longterm care home onthe South Shore of Nova Scotia. Located in the peaceful town of Bridgewater weoffer opportunities for meaningful work as part of a team creating the futureof longterm care.
Position Summary:
The Licensed Practical Nurse contributes to the delivery ofquality care and service to the people who live at Hillside Pines. The LicensedPractical Nurse practices within the established standards of Hillside Pinesand the LPN Scope of Practice as defined by the Nova Scotia College of Nursing.
Qualifications:
- Current LPN registration with the Nova Scotia College ofNursing
- Previous experience in Long Term Care preferred
- Additional education or experience in geriatric nursingpalliative or dementia care considered an asset
- Standard First Aid CPR Certification
Hours:Temporary fulltime term position(maternity leave). Includes 12hour and 8hour round the clock shift rotation.
Salary:As per Hillside Pines and NSNU scale.
