HOW YOULL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your Role:
- Leads a team dedicated solely to stroke care and clinical improvement.
- Collaborates with the SL Admin Neurosciences/Ortho Stroke Team and Stroke Program Medical Director (contractor).
- Responsible for developing implementing and maintaining a comprehensive evidencebased stroke care system (program) meeting and/or exceeding the provisions set forth by The Joint Commissions (TJC) Comprehensive Stroke Accreditation Standards and the American Heart/American Stroke Associations Gold Standards for the stroke Get With The Guidelines (GWTG) program.
- Leads (and is responsible for) maintaining quality and safety standards strategic growth and development collaborating with colleagues across the health system and serving as a resource and point of contact (POC) for internal and external issues.

Supervises:
- RN/Registrar/Data Analyst (JC: 030003)
- RN/Navigator (JC: 037203)
- RN/Improvement Advisor (JC: 035503)
WHAT YOULL NEED TO APPLY
Required Education:
- Bachelors degree in nursing
Preferred Education:
- Masters degree in nursing
Required Experience:
- Three (3) years of relevant management experience
Preferred Experience:
- Stroke Program management experience
- Program development experience
- Performance improvement (PI) experience
- Demonstrated clinical competency in neuroscience nursing
- Expert clinical skills
- Case management skills
- Teaching skills
- Selfdirected
- Selfmotivated
Required Certification/License/Registry:
- Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license
